HP&TGoF movie

i won't spoil anything for anyone, but i'm not entirely impressed.

it might be that i was so busy trying not to smack the girl next to me when she wouldn't stop wriggling around or talking...

or that i was preoccupied with thinking of how fucking mortified i was after i had the most embarrassing moment i've had in a looong time.  the only thing that could have made it worse was if i farted or pee'd on myself or something...  the worst part was when time slowed down (like when you close the car door and realize your keys are still in there and you're chasing it in hopes of catching it before it closes) and it was like a dream where i was watching the situation from afar, but couldn't do anything about it.  and then i got to relive it like 5 times on super-slow-repeat in my head. so don't get upset if i avoid everyone for a couple of days.

in other news, i'm confused about how people that are dressed up like characters from Harry Potter can point and laugh at other people because they have colored streaks in their hair.  um...you're wearing glasses and a cape to the movie which is at least twice as bad as wearing a band's t-shirt to their concert...

For the midnight showing, I thought the crowd and energy was more negative than the Star Wars III crowd.

i was in theater 18, and it was pretty decent. they laughed in the right places, and there were sniffles at the end.

I was in theater 19. There were a bunch of jerks crying out for attention by making jokes in poor taste before and during the movie. Then when the jerks realized they were other jerks in the audience they tried to out alpha-male each other.

That's why I refuse to go see those kinds of movies on opening weekend. Waiting a day or two is worth it to make the experience more enjoyable.

The movie seemed pretty... choppy to me. The scenes just didn't seem to flow smoothly to me. And I think they cut/added a lot of little things that didn't need to be.

I wasn't dressed up, but I was wearing a death eaters shirt. *hides*
